Are you wondering how you can

  • Engage the YouTube and iPhone generation of today?
  • Create user-generated resources to shape and influence culture?
  • Effectively tell your community, business, or organisational stories?
  • Process, preserve and pass-on your personal stories to the next generation?

This workshop is for you.

About the workshop

The workshop is pitched at entry level users (no high-end investment on cameras, lighting, equipment, computers). The emphasis is on the story rather than on the medium. At the end of the three-day workshop, you will showcase your three-minute video. You do not need to be IT savvy to join in.

You will be…

  • Introduced to the heart of storytelling and how to write your personal story
  • Introduced to a seven-step process and digital media tools necessary to create a digital story
  • Coached to complete a 2–3 minute digital story based on the script you have written incorporating personal materials (photos, illustrations, etc)
