About

Communications Director Angeline Koh and writer Aurelia L. Castro have been enthusiastically making digital stories and exciting others into this art form. The two are volunteer co-directors of the Digital Storytelling Circle (DiSC), a new initiative by the National Book Development Council of Singapore (NDDCS) to help create awareness and promoting the Digital Storytelling movement in Singapore. Their digital stories were broadcast on OKTO, one of Singapore’s TV channels.

Both are active members of the Writers Coffee Lounge, a small writers support group in Singapore. Angeline and Aurelia have given talks and conducted media workshops in Singapore, Indonesia and the Philippines and coached individuals.

July 2010 update

After seeing doors being opened and closed for us, we have decided to leave our current jobs to pursue our passion in digital storytelling and other media-writing-related jobs on a full-time basis and a larger scale.

Angeline ventured to start TYROS MEDIA, a new little Digital Storytelling enterprise. Aurelia is currently based in the Philippines. The partners continue to pursue developing Digital Storytelling in Asia.
